Our Cookie Policy aims to describe the types of cookies used by the italix.net website (hereinafter referred to as "Website"), the purposes of the cookies installed and the ways in which the user can select or deselect the cookies present on the Site and benefit from the services offered.

1. WHAT ARE COOKIES?

    • First-party analytical cookies: These cookies are treated in the same way as technical cookies in regulatory terms if they are used directly by the owner of the Site without profiling the user but only to collect information, in aggregate and anonymous form, on the number of users and how they visit the Site for statistical purposes and to improve the Site's performance.
    • Third-party analytical cookies: are made available by third parties and are assimilated to technical cookies if the third parties do not carry out user profiling by using tools suitable to reduce the identification power of the cookies (for example, by masking significant portions of the IP address) and without cross-referencing the information collected with other information they already have.
  • For technical cookies, only the Cookie Policy is required without the need to request consent (art. 13 Privacy Code).
    • Profiling cookies: are used to monitor the user's web browsing and create a profile of their habits:
    • First-party profiling cookies: installed by the owner of the Site to create profiles of the user in order to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed during web browsing. Given their particular invasiveness in the private sphere of users, European and Italian law requires that users be adequately informed of their use, that they give their consent and that they notify the Privacy Guarantor.
    • Third-party profiling cookies: used by third parties who access the information in plain text, i.e. not in anonymous and aggregate mode, and cross-reference it with other data already in their possession. The Site has no direct control over individual third party cookies and cannot directly install or delete them. The user is therefore invited to check the relevant cookie policy on the third party's website.

For such cookies, the legislation provides that the user must be adequately informed about the use of such cookies, must give his consent and must notify the Privacy Guarantor by the person using the data.
